Henry has done several guitars for us and we're very pleased. Today I took in a recent purchase and he said that I (basically) got screwed. You win a few and lose a few.....hopefully more winners. But, I very much appreciated Henry's honesty. Thanks, my friend.

I have a 73? Gibson Les Paul Custom that needed some TLC. I spent about an hour with Henry, getting to know the guy, talking about guitars, and at the same time he was troubleshooting my Les Paul. I?m a little protective of it and didn?t want to hand it off to just anyone, but it became obvious to me that he knows what he?s doing! We both agreed that some minor adjustments and a new wiring kit (cheap!) would resolve multiple issues that had developed in its nearly 40 years of existence! As soon as I got the wiring kit, I brought my guitar back to Henry on a Tuesday and got it back on Wednesday with the new wiring, and a truly professional setup! The action is awesome! Thanks Henry.

After purchasing a "new-to-me" Epiphone Joe Pass hollow body, I knew I needed some help. Called Henry and got in the very next day. It was a very informative and fun hour. I left with my guitar it perfect set and a pocket full of knowledge as well. Obviously experienced, I was treated with respect even though I know little. Thanks, Henry. Go see this guy, but don't turn around when you get to the house....you're not lost.

I'm a repeat customer having been to Henry now with 4 different guitars. This one was my Gene Baker B1, the set up on it is now perfect, truly does play like a dream. Rather than go on about all the reasons YOU should visit Henry why not just go and see for yourself. You'll be real happy you did.

I brought 3 guitars into Henry today. My factory set Les Paul Studio and Taylor 110 , and a used 52 telecaster reissue with some intonation issues. First of all he set aside enough time on Saturday to thoroughly go over each guitar entirely. While Henry was fixing my guitars he explained to me what he was doing. He is not worried about showing you what he is doing, very confident, and obviously very experienced. After going through each guitar, he would have me play it to see what I thought. Each time impressed with the big diifference, big improvement. Before I left he reminded me that he stands by his work and if I feel something out of whack bring it back for him to fix. And now that I have been home for a few hours, and played all 3 for a while I can really appreciate his work even more. Thanks Henry

Hey! I made a two-hour drive to observe Henry installing new strings on my acoustic-electric bass and adjusting it for playability. After removing the old strings, he cleaned and polished the fretboard with 0000 steel wool, re-oiled the fretboard and the bridge, polished the guitar, lowered the saddle, installed the new strings, adjusted the truss rod, tuned it up, and cleaned and touched-up the case. He explained what he was doing along the way and offered me, a novice musician, tips on performing maintenance myself. He is very customer-oriented, is entirely modest about his skills - insisting that "this is not rocket science", and wants you to be satisfied with the outcome. I am! : the action of my bass is more like that of a guitar and the saddle adjustment has increased the tonal response and sustain for all the strings. Wow! The forty dollars that Henry charged for the hour that it required was well worth it to me. I have other instruments that I pound on from time to time and I intend to have Henry give them the treatment as well!

I took my 1987 JEM and my 20th anniversary jewel blue PGM to Henry to have a setup done on both of them. Not only did Henry set them up perfectly but he also explained what he was doing and why the whole time. Also he had some cool stories about the pros he's worked with. I am very happy with my experience and am super stoked to finally find a real pro set up guy. Thanks again Henry.

Called Henry for advice before purchasing a Godin electric off Craigslist. He was generous enough to take 20 minutes of his time to help me make a great choice. After purchasing I played for a few weeks, guitar sounded good, but curious to see if a setup would make a noticeable improvement. As he was doing setup, he did a great job of explaining what he was doing and answered any question I could throw at him. He handed me guitar partway through to try it and he did more adjusting based on my preferences. He polished frets, oiled fretboard and did a thorough wipedown, which I heard sometimes doesnt happen at guitar retailers. End result, the Godin plays much better and the tone is outstanding.

Brought three of my guitars to Henry, a PRS CU24 10Top w/covered 59/09s, a Gibson LP Custom Black Beauty and a Fender CS '56 NOS. What an amazing difference! Henry corrected a pesky fret and neck alignment issue causing the G string to buzz in my Fender and now it plays amazing. And with my LP, when I thought it couldn't play any better, incredible he adjusted the saddle and added more butter to the already buttery neck. My PRS was setup better than new. And in the process Henry explained many of the issues and root causes of problems, so I also learned a lot! Highly recommend Henry to anyone! He gets an A++ from me and will be taking a few more of my guitars to him soon.
