To put it simply, I'll never go back to Sam Ash or Guitar Center as long as Henry lives in the Charlotte area. I've asked him to set up an early 80s Aria Pro II bass guitar and a custom Tele...the instruments have never sounded better. No matter what your play style or level of experience, having someone give your axe some much needed attention and care pays off. Worth the investment every time and Henry is worth every cent. Thanks man!

Hi to all visitors to the Guitarworx website. Yes, I'll admit there aren't any / many new testimonials. Simply because I stopped suggesting / asking for testimonials. Hey, when I have a happy / satisfied customer, I started feeling it was imposing by asking to "Visit my website" and leave a testimonial. Some have been kind enough to do so without prompting (Thanks guys and ladies). Anyway, I am most definitely still in business. at the same location (South Charlotte) and making customers happy with their instruments.

I dropped my Fender American Standard Jaguar bass off this morning, for some help after installing a Moses graphite neck on it, and not getting the feel/action I wanted. Henry had it playing like a dream in less than 3 hours, complete with neck shim and bridge adjustment that has this thing in a wonderful sweet spot! I will be back with 2-3 more of my basses very soon! Great job, man.

Henry rocks! I?ve taken multiple basses and guitars to Henry and every time they end up sounding better than before which in turn inspires me to play more. He?s swapped out pickups, preamps and set them up to my preference. What I appreciate about Henry is that you can see the passion he has towards music and his craft. In addition, to his professional prowess he is respectful, friendly and sincere, always willing to explain the process of the work he?s doing or willing to share some wonderful stories about music. I highly recommend Henry for guitar repair and if you?re looking to make your instrument play the way you envisioned it to. Thanks Henry!

Henry did a very quick and thorough job of resetting my Alvarez acoustic electric to sound as intended. Very personable and I enjoyed his company and anecdotes from the music world while he worked on my guitar. I most certainly recommend him for any and all guitar repairs you may need.

I bought an Ovation acoustic expecting it to fret and bend easily like the best Ovations always have. Unfortunately, it didn't. So I took it to Henry. At first blush, it didn't look like there was much he could do, but the guy doesn't give up! He found a way to shim the neck at the body joint, shim the bridge on one side, and adjust the neck tension just right. It took several tries, a couple of hours, some blood sweat and tears, but the end result was fantastic - the guitar now plays like it should. Thanks, Henry, great job!

Just had Henry set up my Yamaha 12 string . Wow , lovin' it . It's a whole new guitar now , so much fun to play . I also took a Martin to him that I bought less than 2 years ago from GC . He pointed out that the bridge was pulling up . I took this guitar back to GC to see if they could get the action lower . They sanded down the saddle and gave it back to me . This was right after I bought it . My guess is that it was coming up from the get go . Henry saw it right off and gave me the bad news instead of sanding the bridge down some more and taking my $ . Class act ,. and a wealth of knowledge . I highly recommend him . I have several more guitars , and I will be a return customer . Thanks again Henry .

Took my old Jazz Bass to Henry a few weeks ago. He fixed everything wrong with the electronics and put a new set up on it. It was a dump truck but he turned it into a Ferrari. Taking the Roscoe to him next! Thanks Henry!
